Victoria is a state in Australia located in it’s south-eastern corner. The capital of the state is Melbourne, and 70% of Victorians live in this city.

As is to be expected, the majority of hotels in Victoria are located in the big cities, however some hotels can be found in the more rural locations. In the big cities in Victoria, there will be a large range of hotels which can accomodate most needs, from your basic 1-star hotel right through to the luxurious, pampering 5-star hotels.

Towards the more rural parts of Victoria, there are fewer hotels so there is less choice. Most hotels in the rural areas are not so luxurious and are more likely to be like B&Bs.
