CRM explained

CRM stands for ‘customer relationship management’. CRM is a term is normally used in association with a piece of CRM (customer relationship management) software. The software will manage everything to do with the customer’s relationship with the company. CRM software will usually hold detailed customer information such as products bought and customer buying trends. It helps to organise the data so that the salespeople can tailor their sales pitch to the customers’ needs. Customer Relationship Management software can inform customers of products they might be interested in, or upgrades and additions to products or services they already have.

Because of all these factors, CRM software is an important tool in sales and marketing for any company, no matter what they sell.
