Hot Tubs explained
Filed Under: Health & Beauty, Home and Garden
A hot tub is like a large bath tub. A hot tub usually has room in it for four people or more. The hot tub is filled with hot water and used for relaxation, soaking and/or hydrotherapy. Many hot tubs will have water jets in them - these are jets of water underneath the water line which help to massage the people who are in the hot tub. Most hot tubs are located outside, but they can be placed indoors. If the hot tub is outside, special care is needed to ensure the hot tub is protected from the weather and that they are in a private, secluded location!
Hot tubs are heated by either an electric or natural gas heater. Some also use wood-fire heaters or solar-heating systems. If you are lucky and have a hot spring nearby, you could use this to heat the water in your hot-tub instead!
