A jukebox is a partially automated machine which plays music. Often, it is coin-operated meaning that it will only play music selected by a user who has fed a coin to it. The music that a jukebox can play will differ from juke box to juke box. There will be media inside the jukebox itself which will contain the songs it can play and the user can view a list of these songs and make a choice from here.

‘Wurlitzer’ is possibly the most-well known of all jukebox brands. There are plenty of models around, surviving from the early 1940s and onwards with different exteriors and sizes to the jukeboxes themselves. There are many collectors of jukeboxes around, and some jukeboxes are still made today.
