Memory Cards Explained

Memory cards are sometimes known as flash memory cards. They are small card devices which are often used in conjunction with digital cameras, laptop computers, telephones, music players and other electronic devices.

There are many different types of memory card on the market and there are several different types, including CompactFlash, SecureDigital and xD. It is important that you know what kind of memory card you need before you buy it!

Most modern computers sold on the market today have inbuilt readers for a variety of memory cards.

    please advise,i have a fujifilm digital finepix s5600 camera which uses xd fujifilm brand memory card.can i use any other brand of card as long as it is an xd,thanks for your help
