Christening Gift Ideas

Christenings are the perfect time to buy a small keepsake for the child in question. Popular ideas include jewellery, cufflinks, spoons or charms. However, it may be a nice idea to go for a present which is a little more personalised – something which is a little bit different and shows a little bit of thought will be much better received than a christening gift which was very expensive but entirely useless!
Some ideas are:
- A photo album, half filled with pictures from when the child was young
- A photo album filled with clippings and world news that happened the day they were born
- A christening cushion
- A charm bracelet with a charm attached. More charms can be bought as the child gets older
- Personalised paperweights or photo-frames.
Personalised gifts are always great to receive because they show how much effort someone has gone to, to find that perfect present. So even if you are going to buy something standard, have a think to see if there is something you can do to personalise the gift a little more to show them that you really care for them.
